About Me

My name is Margaret Polozow (Polish name: Malgorzata). I have been living in Ireland for almost three years now. Out of these three years, two years I have been living in Co. Galway, and a year in Galway itself. I am a professional nail technician (manicurist). I graduated from one of the best Academies of Beauty in Warsaw.

Most of my professional career has been devoted to beauty. For many years I was working as a professional model and photomodel, both on the catwalk and at the photo shoots. One of my biggest achievements was a photo of me published on the cover of one of the most popular magazines in Poland, Zwierciadlo (eng. Mirror-April 2002). Afterwards, my photos were published in this magazine on numerous occasions.

At that time I was closely observing the work of the best-known celebrities and artists, learning this ‘craft’ from them. In my career, I have many times given up work at beauty salons for different things. However, the nail stylization has always been my passion. I have always been interested in the world trends in this branch. On numerous occasions it has been of much help to my work. In Warsaw, I was working for a distinctive, demanding group of clients at their homes. The group included actresses, stars of show-business and important businesswomen.

Shortly after arriving in Ireland, I have started my career in nail stylization anew. For the last two years I have become familiar with the requirements and needs of Irish women. I was working on their nails at their homes. Since May 2008 I was working as an independent nail stylist in Hair Republic salon in Westside in Galway, and since September 2008 I am starting the collaboration with Hair Boutique salon in Barna, Co. Galway.

My special ambition is to promote the nail stylization among Galway women. An interesting and smart nail design is as, or even sometimes more, important as the expensive jewellery. The wedding design requires a particular attention to the details, and a bride wearing such nails will look extremely attractive.
